PERSONAL FITNESS PROGRAMS

Colony Athletics offers beginner and advanced Yoga classes to members.  Yoga has been practiced for over 5,000 years and is recently becoming more aware in our culture for its healing qualities. You don't have to be physically flexible to practice yoga, just open-minded. Yoga teaches you to use your breath to release tension held in your body through specific poses and stretches. Stress being a significant health issue of our time, taking a regular yoga class can create an overall sense of well-being and better understanding of your mind/body connection. It's a great way to have fun and keep you healthy and energized!  

Yoga is easily modified to your specific needs.

Private or Semi-Private classes will allow your instructor to help you progress at a safe pace.

Private Yoga Classes
A step-by-step individualized yoga class focusing on your specific needs. Private classes are one-on-one and consist of the integrity of the pose (with assistance from the practitioner) as well as attention to breathing deeply throughout the session. Private sessions are by appointment only.

Semi-Private Yoga Classes
Smaller than a large public class (no more than 4 people) with the elements of a private yoga session. You will receive special attention to your specific needs and support from like-minded people sharing the same goals. It's great for a small group of friends, families, couples or people who may feel intimidated by a large group class. Semi-Private sessions are by appointment only. Please
